Safeguarding during the school closure
Safeguarding children is everybody's business. If you have a concern about a child whilst schools in the area are closed, it is important that you report this.
The immediate way of reporting a concern is to contact the Safeguarding Unit directly. The advice is to contact Leicestershire police on 101 if you think a crime has been committed but there is no immediate danger.
If you think a child is being neglected, physically abused or sexually abused then contact the First Response Children’s Duty Team. Phone 0116 305 0005 (this is a 24 hour a day line).
More information can be found here: www.leicestershire.gov.uk/leisure-and-community/community-safety/report-abuse-or-neglect-of-a-child
If you have other welfare concerns about a child and you would like to contact a member of school staff about this, then please complete the form below. When you press submit the form will be sent to the school's Designated Safeguarding Leads.
We have updated our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy through the addition of a new annex which details our procedures during the COVID-19 outbreak. The annex is available at the bottom of this page.
Thank you for taking care of our children.
